THE HISTORY OF THE BELGIAN RACING PIGEON
The subject is one we will never tire of talking about. In the course of years, hundreds, or even thoussands, have contributed to the maintenance of the Belgian racing pigeons on the highest level.
In European countries pigeon fanciers know the latest Belgian champions. In overseas territories they are still obsessed by the champions, and their strains, of half a century or even a full century ago.
No single thing has any significance if pigeons are lacking in quality. Some misguided peple still think that the pedigree is more important than the quality of the pigeon.
The success of the two preceding editions of this book, (part I & II) plus the encouragement and advice that we have received from all the countries in the world, decided us to compose part III and IV.
